Our Process

How this actually runs.

No mystery, no "we'll be in touch." Here's every stage a project goes through, in order, with what we need from you at each one.

Project stages

Stage 1 · 1-3 days

Discovery & Audit

We start with a short call about your business, competitors and goals, then audit whatever you already have — existing site, Google Business Profile, current rankings and reviews — so we're working from facts, not assumptions.

From you: access to any existing site/hosting and 20-30 minutes on a call.

Stage 2 · 1-2 days

Proposal & Scope

You get a written proposal with exact deliverables, timeline and price — not a vague "package." Nothing starts until you've approved the scope, so there's no ambiguity about what's included later.

From you: sign-off on scope and the initial deposit.

Stage 3 · 1-2 weeks

Design

We design the key pages first (usually home + one service page) so you can react to the direction before we build everything else on top of it. Two structured rounds of feedback are built into the timeline — this isn't a single "hope you like it" reveal.

From you: feedback within the agreed window, brand assets if you have them.

Stage 4 · 1-3 weeks

Build & Content

Approved design becomes a real, coded site — fast, mobile-first, with SEO and schema structure built in from day one rather than bolted on afterward. We draft copy from your content questionnaire and existing materials; you review and correct rather than starting from a blank page.

From you: answers to the content questionnaire, photos if available.

Stage 5 · 2-4 days

Launch & QA

Before anything goes live: a full pass across real devices, broken-link and form testing, analytics and Search Console wired up, and — for a redesign — a verified 301 redirect map so nothing you already rank for gets lost in the switch.

From you: final sign-off and DNS/domain access at cutover.

Stage 6 · ongoing

Grow: Local SEO, AEO/GEO & Social

If your scope includes ongoing work, we move straight from launch into it — no pause between "build" and "grow." You get plain-English monthly reporting on what moved and why, not a wall of metrics with no narrative.

From you: a monthly check-in and timely responses to review/reputation items that need your voice.

What you can expect

The standards we hold ourselves to

Direct communication

You talk directly to the person doing the work — not a rotating point of contact who changes from project to project.

Written scope, real prices

Every project starts with a specific written scope and price — see exact numbers on our pricing page.

No lock-in

You own the site and content we build. Leave with proper notice, any time, and take everything with you.

FAQ

Questions about the process

A focused small-business website typically launches 3 to 4 weeks after we have your approved scope and content. Larger or multi-location builds run 6 to 10 weeks depending on complexity. Ongoing services like Local SEO and AEO/GEO start showing measurable movement in 2 to 6 months.

Mainly timely feedback and content: your logo and brand assets if you have them, photos or a willingness to use stock, and answers to a short content questionnaire. We write the copy, but the real specifics about your business have to come from you.

We monitor Search Console and analytics for the first two to six weeks to catch anything a launch might have disrupted, hand over full access and a short walkthrough, and — if you've added Local SEO, AEO/GEO or ongoing SEO — move straight into that work rather than pausing between phases.

Yes. We regularly hand off to, or collaborate with, a client's in-house team or another freelancer — clear documentation and no proprietary lock-in make that straightforward on either end.
