V Go Ceylon: a 39-page showcase site built to convert enquiries into WhatsApp chats.
V Go Ceylon needed a site that could do two jobs at once — showcase curated Sri Lanka tour packages and present destination-wedding planning as a distinct, premium offering — with every enquiry routing to WhatsApp, not a booking engine. Here's what we built.
V Go Ceylon runs curated Sri Lanka tour packages and destination-wedding planning, with final arrangements always handled over WhatsApp and direct consultation rather than a booking engine or payment gateway. The brief called for a portfolio-style showcase site: SEO-structured, content-rich, and built to turn visitors into WhatsApp enquiries.
Before Digitaliate, after Digitaliate
- No showcase site distinguishing tours from destination weddings
- No SEO structure behind the itinerary and tariff content
- No single, consistent source for FAQ content
- No structured path from a page visit to a WhatsApp enquiry
- 39-page site: 3 tour packages, 8 destinations, 14 places-to-visit pages, a dedicated wedding-planning page
- Every page ships its own SEO title, meta description and FAQPage schema
- A consolidated FAQ hub pulling the same Q&A straight from each page's own structured data
- Clean URLs (no .html) and a WhatsApp-first enquiry flow on every page
The challenge, the approach and the results
Tours and destination weddings needed to read as two distinct, premium offerings on the same site, built entirely around real client-sourced itinerary and pricing data rather than filler content — and with no booking engine or payment gateway, every page had to earn a WhatsApp enquiry on its own, with nothing to fall back on.
- 39 real pages. 3 detailed tour packages, 8 destination pages, 14 places-to-visit pages, a dedicated wedding-planning page and full policy/legal coverage — all cross-linked.
- Per-page SEO + schema. Every page carries its own title, meta description and FAQPage schema, feeding a single consolidated FAQ hub with no content drift.
- Clean URL architecture. Every page got its own real directory with an index.html inside, so URLs carry no .html and the site behaves identically local or live.
- Currency & UX details. USD-quoted tariffs with LKR disclosed for local walk-ins, a responsive FAQ layout, and a mobile-first footer that keeps legal links accessible above the sticky CTA bar.
The result is a fully static, framework-free site with SEO-clean architecture, categorized FAQ content sourced from a single source of truth, and clean URLs across all 39 pages — behaving identically whether tested locally or served live on Apache via Hostinger, with .htaccess handling only legacy redirects, caching, compression and security headers on top.
See it live
- 39 cross-linked pages — tours, destinations, places-to-visit and weddings
- Consolidated FAQ hub — sourced from each page's own schema
- Clean URLs — no .html anywhere on the site
- WhatsApp-first enquiry flow — on every page, no booking engine needed
Not every business needs a booking engine or a payment gateway — some run entirely on a WhatsApp conversation, and the website's job is simply to earn that conversation. Building for that honestly, with real SEO structure and clean architecture underneath, is what separates a working showcase site from a digital brochure nobody finds — the same approach behind our Tour & Travel work.
